The Experimental Research Workshop will take a practical, hands-on approach, using real research data sets and scenarios tailored to the tourism and hospitality industry. The workshop will focus on designing experiments based on various stimuli, such as images, text, videos, and other scenarios, to address research questions. Attendees will explore strategies for manipulating these stimuli effectively, ensuring robust and impactful experimental designs.
Tentative Workshop Schedule
- Conceptual overview of experimental research.
- Designing experiments using image, text, and video scenarios.
- Randomization techniques and ensuring validity.
- Data collection methods tailored to different stimuli.
- Group activity: Developing an experimental design using multimedia stimuli.
